8)      Do you think it’s harder to manage an IT project or a traditional project, such as building construction? Justify your response.

Do I think that an IT project or a traditional project both are hard. The nature of an organization represents a team effort to reach specific goals and objectives. Each division, department, and employee group represents some type or part of a functioning team. In each case, from specific project teams to the entire organizational workforce, overall success depends upon individual personalities and how those personalities get along and work with each other. Organizational success results from the ability to increase productivity from the introduction of new technologies and by the promotion of active and effective collaboration within the organization and among others.

Process Groups describe and organize the project from start to finish and is important to note how they relate and depend on each other to guide the project to a successful end.       Globalization is a method of collaboration and incorporation among the people, companies, and governments of different nations, a process driven by international market  and investment and assisted by information technology.
Outsourcing is a procedure used by some companies to lower costs by transporting portions of work to outside contractors rather than completing it internally.                                                                   Virtual teams are a group of people who work across time, space and logistical boundaries with the aid of technology.  These trends are changing IT project management by using outsourcing to improve their business style to ensure that IT infrastructure and business procedures are combined and uniformed.
Virtual teams decrease costs, raise the work and life equilibrium for team members, provide more skill and flexibility, and buildup competition and responses.

1)      What does it mean to take a systems view of a project? How does taking a systems view of a project apply to project management?

Taking a systems view of a project means how that project will react with other procedures of the organization. How this system view applies to project management guarantees projects do not exist in separation from the organization and its other systems and that projects are directed toward supporting organizational strategy. This needs to gel with the general plan of the organization.
